Practice/Game Nights: (Playing age is determined as of August 1, 2011.)
U6 (ages 4-5) Co-Ed:  M/W
U8 (ages 6-7):  Girls - T/Th ~ Boys - T/Th
U10 (ages 8-9):  Girls - M/W ~ Boys - T/Th
U12 (ages 10-11):  Girls - M/W ~ Boys - T/Th
U13-U18 (ages 12-17) Co-Ed:  T/Th
*Practices held on one night, games on the other.

Practices begin the week of April 23.
Games begin the week of April 30.
Pictures are the week of May 7.
The season ends Saturday, June 30 with the Jamboree.

Teams will be divided into north and south divisions with fields located in Andover and Oak Grove.

Coaches are needed and appreciated!  Volunteer for positive youth development through soccer.  Check the volunteer box during the registration process.  Thank you!

]]> http://www.northmetrosoccer.org/home/586732.html New Program - Comp Prep 01/02/2012 11:00 AM http://www.northmetrosoccer.org/home/587450.html The Comp Prep program builds on and increases a foundation of skills beyond what they have learned in the traditional Recreational program, and provides a similar training and game schedule that players find at the Competitive level.

Comp Prep teams will meet Mondays and Wednesdays for 90 minutes and will have opportunities to play in weekend jamborees throughout the metro. During regular weekly participation, players will rotate between working with coaches, playing games and working with the trainer.  If you are interested in coaching, coaches will be screened and will need to meet criteria set by the Director of Coaching for North Metro. Please e-mail the Rec Director for an application at recdirector@northmetrosoccer.org.  Coaches will be provided support, training and curriculum material throughout the season.

In this initial year, the Comp Prep registration fee is $90.00 (the same price as the regular Recreational program). The fee includes a uniform similar to Rec, and there will be minimal extra fees collected to attend tournaments and/or jamborees on some weekends (approximately 3) throughout the season.

Comp Prep field size will be the same as U9/U10 Comp fields, there are no referees, and requests to play with friends or specific coaches will not be permitted.  The goal of the Comp Prep Program is to provide players, coaches, and parents with training, guidance and preparation for a successful beginning to their ‘career’ in North Metro’s Competitive program. The Comp Prep program shows North Metro’s commitment to player development, coach’s education, and open communication with parents.

Registration is on-going although the payment deadline has passed.  For those players who have previously paid the $25 tryout fee, the balance of $185 is now due.  CLICK HERE to make the payment and complete registration.
