Letter from our DSO, Jason Jacob

Hello All NMSA Families,
As we begin to wrap up the 2016-17 soccer year, we would like to thank all of the families who have participated in the fall, winter, spring and summer programs over the last year from our 3 and 4 year old mini metros to our U18 and U19 competitive teams.  With a variety of changes and additions over the last year, it has been challenging at times, but we are excited about the progress we have made as we continue to look into ways to provide opportunities to players of all ages and ability levels.  A special thanks to all of the coaches, managers and volunteers who put in countless hours with players and families that truly are at the core of what we do as an association - your dedication and work is truly appreciated.
Some exciting announcements as we head into the 2017-18 soccer year and an update on several items we have been working on over the past few weeks and months:
#1 - After adding three director positions this past year on a trial basis and making the adjustments necessary to maximize the impact of those positions going into the next two years, we are happy to announce the following positions have been filled from August 2017 through July 2019:
Director of Coaching - Brady Hicks
Director of Development - Mike Friendt
Technical Director - Sean Beggin
These three gentlemen bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to NMSA and will help support programs throughout the association as well as being part of our paid coaching staff.  We will be updating the association with their soccer background and job descriptions in July and are excited to bring their passion and expertise to help players, coaches and parents have the best possible experience.
#2 - We are also happy to announce the following have accepted positions as paid coaches within our Academy Program for the upcoming year and will likely participate in as trainers for other training programs we provide throughout the year:

We will be adding additional paid coaches and training staff over the coming months as we look to meet the needs of other competitive teams as well as our rec, comp prep and mini metro programs.  Be looking for updates and bios throughout the month of July.
